Terms for Remove My Info’s local app, hosted recovery, searches, and supervised privacy actions, effective October 4, 2026. Please read these terms before using the service.
Service
Remove My Info helps identify public data exposure, prepare and track privacy-rights requests, and verify reported removals. It does not guarantee that every source will find, delete, suppress, or permanently stop republishing information.
Agreement to these terms
By starting a scan, creating protected recovery, or using a supervised action, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. A parent or legal guardian must authorize use by anyone who cannot enter a binding agreement.
Apple app license
If you obtained the app through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your license to the app unless Root777 later provides a custom license in App Store Connect. These Terms separately govern Root777’s searches, hosted recovery, support, and supervised privacy services. Apple is not responsible for operating those services.
Your authority
You may use the service for yourself or for another person only when you have valid authority. You are responsible for accurate information and truthful residency, identity, and legal attestations. You must not use the service to impersonate, harass, investigate, or obtain information about another person.
Not legal advice
The service provides operational assistance, not legal advice or legal representation. Available privacy rights differ by jurisdiction and may include exceptions. Government programs and third-party source policies can change.
Protected checkpoints
You must personally complete steps marked as protected, including CAPTCHAs, identity-document uploads, residency verification, and legal attestations. You may revoke standing authorization for future actions at any time.
Supervised submissions
Remove My Info may inspect allowlisted public rights pages and, only after secure email verification and your explicit single or batch authorization, send a privacy request to the named published privacy emails. You must confirm that every request concerns you, review the prepared identity set and recipient list, and avoid duplicate, abusive, or fraudulent requests. Registry priority, a detected form, or successful email delivery does not prove that a source holds your data or has completed a request.
Exposure Watch and regulator handoffs
Later source checks can record that a listing is still present, was not found, or appeared after an earlier independent absence. No single observation proves permanent deletion or legal noncompliance. The service may prepare a source-and-timestamp evidence timeline and open an official regulator page, but it does not provide legal advice, represent you, make a legal conclusion, complete your attestation, or file a complaint for you. You are responsible for reviewing and submitting anything on an official site.
Complimentary search
Root777 may provide a limited shared Brave Search allowance subject to monthly and per-device abuse limits. Availability is not guaranteed. If it is unavailable, you may wait for the allowance to reset, use direct search links where offered, or voluntarily provide your own transient Brave Search API key.
Acceptable use
Do not bypass access controls, submit fraudulent requests, scan sources at abusive rates, interfere with the service, upload malware, or use automated results to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or another person’s eligibility.
Availability
Third-party sites can block requests, require additional proof, or change without notice. Search links, source contacts, and government flows can also change. Keep exported evidence for important requests and verify outcomes directly with the receiving organization.
No safety or removal guarantee
A search result, absent result, caller report, message check, breach report, sent request, source reply, or status label is information—not a guarantee. Caller ID can be spoofed. A message with no detected warning can still be harmful. A broker can republish information after removal. Root777 does not promise that the service will stop spam, phishing, identity theft, unwanted contact, or all exposure.
Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Root777 provides the service “as is” and “as available.” Root777 disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and security. Some jurisdictions do not allow every disclaimer, so these limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Limit on liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Root777 and its owners, affiliates, contractors, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or goodwill; identity theft, fraud, unwanted contact, or third-party conduct; or the cost of a substitute service. Root777’s total liability for all claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Root777 for the service during the 12 months before the claim or US $50. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
Your responsibility and indemnity
You are responsible for your information, authority, approvals, and use of results. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Root777 and its owners, affiliates, contractors, and suppliers from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use; a request about someone you were not authorized to represent; your breach of these Terms; or content you submit. This section does not require indemnity for Root777’s own unlawful conduct.
Suspension and termination
Root777 may rate-limit, suspend, or end access when reasonably needed to protect a person, the service, a third party, or the law; investigate misuse; respond to a legal request; or stop an unavailable feature. You may stop using the service at any time and can delete local and hosted copies through the controls described in the Privacy Notice.
Feedback
If you send an idea or suggestion, you give Root777 a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free right to use, modify, publish, and incorporate it without payment or obligation. Do not send confidential information. Personal information included with feedback remains covered by the Privacy Notice.
Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where consumer law requires another forum, claims must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Contra Costa County, California, and each party consents to that venue. Before filing a claim, please send a written description through the support form so the parties can try to resolve it informally for 30 days.
Changes and general terms
Root777 may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Root777’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without Root777’s consent; Root777 may transfer it as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of the service. These Terms, the Privacy Notice, and any applicable store license are the complete agreement about the service.
