Data deletion

Delete either copy—or both.

Remove My Info keeps a copy on your device. If you enable passwordless email recovery, it also keeps a encrypted recovery account. Each copy has its own clear delete control.

Delete from a browser

Open Remove My Info, choose My details, then go to Your data. Choose Delete from this device and confirm. This removes the saved identifiers, DROP tracker, results, and progress from that browser. You can export a JSON copy first.

Browser controls

Clearing site data for privacy.root777.com also removes the workspace. Data stored in another browser or device must be cleared on that browser or device.

Delete email recovery

While signed in through your secure email link, open My details, go to Your data, and choose Delete recovery account. Confirming removes the hosted identity vault, encrypted workspace, sessions, authorizations, request cases, and related user records. The local device copy remains until you separately delete it.

Delete in the iPhone or Android app

Open Vault, then Your data. You can delete the device copy or, while recovery is on, delete the recovery account and its associated hosted data. The app asks for confirmation before either action.

Third-party requests

Deleting the local workspace does not recall searches or privacy requests you already sent to a search engine, broker, email provider, DROP, or the FTC. Contact those parties for their deletion processes.
